Attention All Women! Arm Workouts are Vital!

HIIT is basically a type of training that involves short bursts of high intensity output, cardiovascular exercise, alternated with slightly lower intensity output cardio exercise.  For example, 20 seconds high, 10 seconds low, 20 seconds high and so on, up to a maximum of 20 minutes.

This training can include any type of cardio exercise – running, cycling, rowing, the stairclimber or eliptical trainer.

If you are new to this type of conditioning, you can start with 2 minutes and work up to 5 minutes, and then include three or four 5 minute sessions in your workout.  Your body will continue to burn fat, even long after you’ve left the gym.

I will say it again, for many women, arm workouts are a concern.  But, arm workouts for women using weights or resistance are vital to change and improve the shape of the upper arms and shoulders.  It is important to build some muscle, but it would take a lot of hard work and effort to make those muscles masculine.

So, you see, time spent in the gym is time well spent, as good muscle tone of the upper arms can look very attractive and even sexy on most women.  Arm workouts for women are an absolute must!
