Here are two excellent exercises that you can do to strengthen your chest muscles, which will help to ‘lift’ your breasts in the process. These chest exercises for women work the pectoralis muscles or pecs or chest muscles, which are beneath the breasts, and so the stronger that you get those and the more often that you work the pec muscles regularly, they gain strength and tone, and thus can give the appearance of lifting the breasts that cover them.
If you are looking for chest exercises for women to actually lift the breasts as opposed to just strengthening your chest, you could also try working on your posture, as standing up tall gives a far better and more lifted appearance to the chest area, as well as strenghtening yourin the process.
Chest Flys with Stability Ball
Lye with your upper back on the exercise ball, your legs bent at right angles and your feet together on the floor. You will need a small dumbbell in each hand. Start with both hands straight up above your chest, lower your arms down and wide apart just level with your body – and as you do so, inhale. Exhale as you raise your arms. You will feel the chest begin to stretch and you will feel the chest muscles engage as you bring the weights back together.
Do 12-15 repetitions, and complete three sets.
Push Ups with Weights
This exercise works multiple muscles, but it is a really great way to tone and strengthen your pectoral muscles.
You can start in the push up position on your knees if you prefer to – rest your hands each on a dumbbell in the position that you would normally place your hands, slightly wider than shoulder width apart. As you come up from the push up lift one of the weights in towards the shoulder of the same arm in a rowing motion. Replace the dumbbell on the floor and do the same on the other side.
This video shows the technique although the guy looks like he’s struggling a little – but then maybe his weights are a tad too heavy!!
These are really a couple of great chest exercises for women and you should definitely try to incorporate them into your workout if you are looking to strengthen and tone your pecs or chest muscles.
